Hello and hope you can help. I have also posted this to the Bushnell customer service but we know how that can go.
I won a pair of Bushnell 11-1025 binoculars in a raffle a few years ago but had never utilized the digital camera aspect until recently. I took several practice shots (I am preparing to go to a sporting event this weekend) and subsequently connected it to my computer. I kept getting the found new hardware message and an error message that they could not locate a driver for my device. It was recognized as a generic usb camera. I did not receive a disk in the box (which was shrink wrapped). I did not think it would matter as I have an XP machine. I thought it would have been plug and play. I learned from searching the Bushnell site and others that there is an imageviewer software to install. But stated on sites I should not have to if xp machine but, I have done that. I also have photoshop (roxio photosuite is not required if you have another photo editing program) on my computer but when I try to import using the twain feature I get a message stating that it could not connect to camera. I have tried various usb ports both on my laptop and on the hub to my laptop cooler (which does have it's own power source). I am very frustrated as I thought this would be a nice feature to explore but not my time is running out to take advantage of this. Is there a specific .inf or driver file that I am missing?? From what I am reading I should not have to do anything if I have XP. In essence, Bushnell recognize they are attached to the computer (PC LCD is shown), but the computer does not reconize the hardware and won't install it. Please help. Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 3 Bushnell 11-1025 Imageview Binoculars I am clear malware and virus wise. Thank you Mickey7 This post has been edited by mickey7: Oct 1 2009, 05:50 PM |
