Am trying to put togather a new box.

Plan to use AsRock Alive NF5-eSata 2 and an amd processor.

Problem; All the optical drives available here (Holland) are either ide(Do not want) or Sata/150(1)

I know very little, so can someone kindly tell me how to use sata 1 drives on a board with sata 2 slots.

Thanks in advance. unsure.gif

That's a little hard when things change everyday - that's what is great about forums, chances are someone reading heard about this or that, and can share.
