Hi, sorry to hear of the problems with your machine:
Have a look here: http://forums.whatthetech.com/Laptop_blank...en_t106384.html But before you do this check to see that the tiny switch that is often installed to operate when the laptop is closed has full and free movement..its usually to be found arounf the hinge line. If you can live with the screen being on permanently then this may be a temporary solution Regards paws |

The little button is working freely ...
The blank screen saver is off ... When the backlight goes off , I reboot , and it will come right back on .. Sometimes it will stay on , sometimes it will go right back off .. A good example is this morning , it took me 4 times to reboot til the backlights stayed on .. |
