I've got my uncles' Lonovo Ideapad Y530 and every time I shutdown and/or restart the connection option for a router goes from auto to manual connect. What is causing this and how can it be fixed?

Yep that was the problem. I uninstalled the software that was causing the problem and the laptop is now connecting automatically with out problems. Thank you for the quick responses.
