I've got my uncles' Lonovo Ideapad Y530 and every time I shutdown and/or restart the connection option for a router goes from auto to manual connect. What is causing this and how can it be fixed?

I would suspect that the Lenovo has its own wireless management utility, as most laptops do.
My personal preference is to uninstall or disable that software and allow Windows to handle the wireless connection. If by chance you do have a third party wireless utility installed, I would suspect that your answer lies there. |
